Welcome to Black Business Guide, your resource for discovering and supporting Black Owned Businesses, fostering economic growth,

and creating a more equitable future.

Our journey began with a deep-rooted inspiration drawn from the historic Greenwood community in Tulsa, Oklahoma, circa 1920. There, a dollar thrived, circulating an astonishing 19 times before leaving the community.

Despite facing significant challenges, we firmly believe in the power of economic empowerment. In 2011, the Nielson report found that only a mere 2 cents of every dollar spent by an African American made its way back to Black-Owned businesses. Fast forward to 2023, where we achieved a significant milestone, surpassing the 1 trillion dollar mark in buying power. 

Presently, a dollar circulates within the Black community for just 6 hours, a fraction of the time compared to other communities. These numbers do not deter us; they fuel our determination to extend the circulation of wealth within our community. We are more committed than ever to breaking barriers and

rewriting the narrative for Black wealth.
